I was born and raised in California where one of my first jobs in my 20’s would happen to be in a small camera store. This is where I held my first 35 mm SLR camera and fell in love with photography. For many years, it remained a hobby while I raised my family. I kept trying to go back to school for other things, such as Architecture or Biomedical Engineering, but never considered photography until almost three years ago when I took my very first photography course. The more I learn, the more I realize how much more I don’t know, so I look forward to every new  adventure. I am finding my voice through expression of imagery. My goal is to capture magical light, tell stories, and evoke emotional responses. I want someone to be transported to another time and place, whether it be calming , disturbing, or a glimmer of light in the dark places. I hope I can continue this journey and one day be able to incorporate my love of photography into my working life and all the days I have left.
